Welcome to the exciting programme of events, workshops and courses we have planned over the coming months. They are carefully designed to encourage all ages to get creative in natural surroundings.

drawing, painting, photographing and pressing
with Coo Geller, Hannah Athayde and Lucy Pedlar

Saturday 20th May 10am - 12noon

Adults & Young people 12+ 

children must be accompanied by an adult

Inspired by Coo Geller’s exhibition, join us for an exploration of the tiny life living in the lawn and meadow at Trymwood. Lowering our gaze, we will seek out and celebrate the little things growing just beyond our doorstep and respond creatively to them, drawing, painting, photographing and pressing our discovered treasures.

identifying birdsong and drawing natural history
with Roger Moses and Nik Pollard

Sunday 21st May 10am - 12noon

Adults & Young people 12+ 

children must be accompanied by an adult

Join local bird expert, Roger Moses, and artist, Nik Pollard, for a joyful morning of bird song identification in the beautiful gardens at Trymwood. You will also be given the opportunity to get creative with our wonderful natural history collection of nests, feathers, eggs and skeletons as Nik Pollard shares their stories and encourages lots of imaginative responses with a wide selection of artist materials.
