The Trymwood Studios team are very excited to announce a brand new, five week course exploring art history through nature with Art Historian, Rebecca Jemmett, UCL. Explore the lives of artists, study great artworks and hone your art appreciation skills as we focus on the five themes of water, skies, flowers, animals and trees throughout the history of art. We'll be looking together at famous artworks, discovering some less well-known ones, getting our heads around some art history basics and learning how to look hard and ask really good questions about the art in front of us. No previous art history experience necessary. Tutor information: Rebecca studied Art History at UCL, following her childhood love of galleries. More recently she has written a popular series of Art History resources for families. She is a home-educating parent of three children and lives in Bristol.
