Available spots

We invite you to spend a summer weekend at Trymwood Studios learning the traditional method of relief print-making with experienced printmaker, Nik Pollard. In our wonderful 18th century studio, and drawing inspiration from our gardens and meadowlands, you will use card to explore the relief printing process - the perfect material for allowing printing projects to be realised over a short space of time. You will also have the opportunity to use our etching press to investigate qualities of pressure in printmaking.   This course is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who wish to improve their printmaking. Refreshments will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch. Tutor Information: Nik studied Natural History Illustration at the Royal College of Art. He has always had a keen interest in nature and enjoys learning about wildlife through drawing. He is a member of the Society of Wildlife Artists and exhibits nationally and internationally.
