I am an artist and printmaker working and living in Bristol.

 

Nature is the source for my work. I am first drawn to a particular natural material, perhaps a plant or a vegetable, when I notice a tiny aspect of it that I find fascinating. I record this to communicate its special, un-noticed qualities.

I use a variety of mediums and methods in the making of my work including printmaking, photography and scanning, digital processes, laser cutting and artist books.

 

I want to bring the sense of wonderment to my work that I feel for everyday things – a parsnip, a patch of moss, the peel of an orange……I give value to each little thing to show its importance in the world.
