What you can expect
Do you love nature and want a relaxed space to develop your drawing?
Come and join us on Tuesday evenings.
Meeting in the inspiring surroundings of Trymwood Studios, these sessions are all about
experimenting with different approaches to drawing and art materials. Every week features an exciting nature theme and a look at work by other artists to spark your ideas.
There will be no pressure, just a small, friendly group where you are very welcome to work with our experienced tutors at your own pace and focus on what interests you.
Examples of sessions

Mammals: tuning into live webcams across the globe and sketching wild animals in their natural habitats

Natural History: exploring our natural history collection; drawing animal skulls, insect specimens, feathers, nests and shells

Seasons: using colour to capture the autumn leaves and seeds from Trymwood gardens

Birds: learning to draw birds, looking at anatomy, movement and flight
